We will start the yoga nidra practice by quieting our busy minds and then move into a meditative, dream-like state, gradually resting in a space between awake and asleep. In this tranquil state, the brain waves slow down and a gentle joy and a deep relaxation can emerge.

Yoga nidra cools off the fight/flight nervous system and allows us to go deeper, excavating the knowledge and power within.

We stay in a comfortable savasana position most of the class, so make sure you bring the clothing, blankets, and/or props you need to stay warm and comfortable.
